All of these pieces form the soundtrack for Norman Nawrocki's novel, CAZZAROLA! Anarchy, Romani, Love, Italy (PM Press, Oakland, 2013). They were recorded in Italy and Montreal. The order of the songs follows the story in the book, chronologically, from 1880 to today. The story is based on the life of a fictional Italian family, the Discordias.
